Breeders in Korea?
Though there are many honorable breeders of Jindo Dogs in Korea, currently the dog culture in Korea is widely divergent than the dog culture in the Western world.
For instance, when a puppy is sold, verbal agreements are the norm, not written contracts. To insist on a written contract may be offensive.
Health-testing is not investigated within Jindos although OFA and PennHip can be done on dogs within Korea. (It is currently done for Western breeds in Korea.)
A Jindo dog's pedigree paperwork can be spread across several organizations. Despite the best of efforts to get an exported puppy registered with the KKF/FCI (which is accepted by the rest of the world), the attempt by the breeder and/or owner may yet end up in a failure.
Successfully obtaining a puppy directly from Korea entails respecting the culture, understanding the risks, adjusting expectations, and accepting the entire responsibility of the purchase.
